Plans and quotas

Pay for calls, not for orbital mechanics

Every plan gets the same predictions: the same propagation, the same validation, the same freshness of elements. Plans differ only by how many calls they allow.

Plans

One key per plan · quotas in UTC

Paid plans are not open yet. The quotas below are the ones the API enforces; the prices will be shown here, and again by Stripe with taxes before any confirmation, when payments open. Until then, the free preview is the way in.

This website

No key, no account

The predictor on this site calls the same engine without a key. Every visitor shares one anonymous budget of 200 requests a day and 20 a minute, so on a busy day it can run out before midnight UTC. That budget is for people looking at the sky, not for integrations: there is no anonymous batch endpoint.

How quotas count

When does a monthly quota reset?
At 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month - not on your subscription anniversary. The first, partial month has the full quota.
Does a cached answer count?
Yes. A call is a call, whether it was propagated or served from the prediction cache.
How does a batch count?
One request per prediction (satellites × sites), failed entries included, against every limit. A batch that does not fit the remaining quota is refused whole and consumes nothing.
What happens at the limit?
A 429 with Retry-After, resetsAt and which limit was reached. There is no overage billing: nothing is ever charged beyond the plan.
Do upgrades or key rotation reset usage?
No. Usage belongs to the account's month; changing plan, rotating or revoking a key never resets it.
Is there an SLA?
Not yet. The service runs on an instance that can sleep, and an SLA would be a sentence rather than a commitment until it does not. See the live status.
